Latpancher situated in Mahananda wildlife sanctuary and It is the highest point in the Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary.
Hornbill nest home stay is run by Mr. Padam Gurung ,he is a very well known for his knowledge of birds, medicinal plant and he also know this entire area just like his palm. Throughout the year tourist come here for bird, medicinal plant, butterfly, amphibians (Like salamander) there coming from throughout the globe. Like-England, America, Sri-Lanka, Malaysia, Russia.
Delhi University’s Students also come here for amphibians & Medicinal Planets.
Hornbill Nest Homestay in Latpanchar is an excellent base for Bird Watching.
